Derbyshire Netball County Junior League 2016/17
Following the success of the High 5 and U12 league of the past two years, Derbyshire Netball intends to run a County Junior League for England Netball affiliated Clubs to commence in the spring. We are proposing that the league has High5, U12, U14 and U16 sections, each ran within their own age bands in line with Regional and National Competitions. Our aim is to run a County Junior League which meets regularly on a Saturday afternoon to play competitive, friendly netball. Ideally the league will be played at various venues around the County depending on those teams wishing to enter. We hope players will be inspired by both their competition and older players and together raise the level of competition offered and available to Clubs. Clubs do not need to have a team for each section. The success of the High 5 league started with an idea and lots of enthusiasm, we want to continue that idea and build upon it. To enable us to plan dates and venues, we need to know if your club would be interested in entering a team(s) in any of the above age sections. Our juniors are netball players of the future!
