​County Player Development

The 2023-2024 County Player Development Squads train on Saturday mornings at Woodlands School from September 2023 to May 2024 – CLICK HERE for schedule.

In addition to training, they will also have match play opportunities through the season.

The County Player Development Programme U13s is the first step on the England Netball Player Pathway, The U15s is the second step. From here the Pathway is taken over by the Region’s VNSL Franchise, which for Derbyshire is Loughborough Lightning.

Lightning’s U15 Academy hold trials in January and the U15 County Lead Coach must nominate athletes to attend these.
