COVID Specific Information
Derbyshire County Netball is following the directive from England Netball to ensure that we are creating as safe an environment for all participants as is possible. Specifically, we have:
Derbyshire County Netball will be operating on an opt in basis for all players, coaches and other participants. It is important that everyone is aware of the guidance contained in this document and that attendance at all sessions is based on agreement to the protocols that Derbyshire Netball communicate to you.
All participants (including parents) should be aware:
All participants are encouraged to speak to their health care provider to seek guidance on returning if they are in a higher risk category or have concerns. The Covid-19 Officer can also be contacted with more general questions around the club’s approach or measures.
All players, parents, coaches and other participants at Derbyshire netball County training are required to confirm that they are aware of the guidance and information provided by completing the OPT IN form by CLICKING HERE – when asked to do so by the Performance Team
COVID-19 Parent and Player Health Declaration Form
Derbyshire Netball is taking a highly precautionary approach to manage the spread of COVID-19, which is line with England Netball as well as local and national guidance.
We are therefore, requesting that before your daughter returns to netball training that you complete the online form by CLICKING HERE - when asked to do so by the Performance Team

- Appointed a designated Covid-19 Officer to lead and oversee the implementation of our plans
- Created a Covid-19 risk assessment for our planned activities to work alongside our existing one
- Produced a Covid-19 risk management plan

- That there is no pressure from anyone at Derbyshire Netball for an athlete to return to training if they or their parents/caregiver are uncomfortable with the risks.
