About Us

Derbyshire Netball is led by a volunteer County Management Board who oversee activity in the area, covering competition, talent, workforce, increasing participation and promoting netball.


The County has a number of Technical Support Groups (TSGs) who are responsible for specific areas of netball delivery, for example, competition, performance, and officiating. All groups operate alongside a Governance & Finance Group.

Vice Chair

Are you passionate about developing netball in Derbyshire? As Vice Chair, you'll work alongside the Chair and County Management Board (CMB) to help shape the future of the game across the county.


This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting strategic decision-making, championing volunteers, and helping ensure the county is effectively managed.

County Safeguarding Officer

The County Safeguarding Officer plays an important role in helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for everyone involved in netball.


Acting as a key point of contact for Club Safeguarding Officers (CSOs), you will provide guidance and support when safeguarding concerns arise within clubs or leagues and can also offer support where an individual feels unable to approach their own club safeguarding officer.


The role focuses on advising, supporting, and signposting concerns in line with England Netball safeguarding procedures, working closely with club volunteers and the England Netball Safeguarding Team when required.


This is a voluntary position, with all reasonable out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed. Full support will be provided by the County Management Board, including funding and assistance to complete any required safeguarding training and courses, ensuring you feel confident and equipped to carry out the role effectively.

Competition TSG

Are you passionate about netball and ready to make a real impact across the county?


Derbyshire Netball Association
is looking for an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Technical Support Group (TSG) Lead – Competition to lead, develop, and deliver high‑quality competition opportunities for players, clubs, and schools.


This is a leadership role at the heart of county netball. As Competition TSG Lead, you’ll drive the planning and delivery of County and Regional competitions, bring people together, and ensure every player has the chance to compete in a well‑run, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.t

You’ll work closely with the County Management Board and a dedicated group of volunteers, acting as the go‑to person for all competition matters  from strategy and scheduling to communication and best practice.


This position is voluntary but out of pocket expenses will be reimubursed.
