A great evening at Woodlands last night hosting an umpires workshop for those working towards their INTO and C Award umpiring qualifications 🏐 The session was led by Dawn Heron and Jayne Bell, with 15 attendees taking part in a really valuable and engaging workshop. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the evening! 👏

Still buzzing from the East Midlands U11 Tournament last Sunday? ✨ Huge shoutout to every single team that came through and absolutely smashed it, the talent, teamwork and vibes all day were unreal. Big energy at the PDP Tournament at Denston 💙🔥 Our squads absolutely showed up on Sunday and we’re SO proud of the girls 💪 🏆 U15A — CUP WINNERS 🥈 U15B — PLATE RUNNERS UP 🥉 U13 — THIRD PLACE Special shoutout to the U13B squad 👏 A lot of our Year 7s stepped up to represent the team and had to move up from Plate into Cup competition, and they still battled hard all day 🫶 Massive effort, massive potential.

🌟 Today is all about the PDP U15s 🌟 A very competitive day of netball but our U15s rose to the challenge. After narrowly missing out on top 4, they finished in 8th place 👏🏻

💙Let’s celebrate our PDP U13s ❤️ On Saturday our U13s competed in the PDP tournament in Bedford. This group of wonderful players came 11th, which is a huge improvement from last year. Coming next U15 update…. We have so much to celebrate at the moment. Netball in Derby is thriving 💙❤️

A key leader and consistent threat in any position. ⭐Most Improved – Ava Barbour Ava’s first season has been a standout success! Spotted at a Derbyshire netball camp, she earned her spot in the A team and has shown consistent growth and confidence in defence throughout the season. ⭐S&C Top Performer – Polly Iliffe In her first year and playing up against older athletes, Polly showed serious determination – completing 300% of her S&C home sessions. Her dedication and attitude have been next level! ⭐Super Shooter Award – Orla Hague Just in Year 7, Orla’s goal-scoring skills were unmatched this season. A rising star and top scorer! ⭐Most Effective Centre Court – Chloe Wilson A central figure on court, Chloe’s impact and leadership have earned her U15 training and tournament standout roles. ⭐Most Outstanding Player of the Season – Esme Rea Her confidence and skills have gone from strength to strength, she has been a key asset to the A team this season. ⭐Most Versatile Player – Jess Wilson Jess plays it all, from centre court to defence or shooter, always with total commitment. Her adaptability and team-first mindset make her a true all-rounder! ⭐ Top Interceptor – Esme Rea Esme played all matches throughout the season and her interception stats don’t lie – she came out on top. ⭐Coaches Player of the Season – Rosie Bennet Rosie has grown massively in confidence and has been an all-round asset in a variety of roles.
