This program is designed to inspire the next generation of netball leaders, providing hands-on involvement and learning opportunities within the sport.
What is the Youth Board?
We’re excited to announce the launch of the Derbyshire Youth Board, which officially kicked off in January 2025.
A warm welcome to Chloe Daniel, Holly Smith, and Isobel Holland, who bring fresh perspectives and energy to shaping the future of netball in Derbyshire.
In their first meeting, the team shared introductions, discussed what excites them most about Derbyshire netball, and explored key challenges that prevent women and girls from playing the sport.
Meet the Youth Board
Chloe Daniel
Having played netball from a young age Chloe is passionate about inspiring the next generation to love the sport. Chloe chairs her own junior club and she is excited to see how her role on the youth board can further support her current netball responsibilities.

- Her netball positions are GK/GD
- Her favourite player is Helen Housby
Isobel Holland
Isobel has been playing netball since the age of 12 and has enjoyed it every year since. She is very enthusiastic about encouraging younger generations to participate and get involved in the world of netball. Isobel coaches and umpires for her club to help inspire the same admiration that she felt at their age towards the love of the sport.

Holly Smith
Holly has been playing netball since the age of 8. Alongside playing, she is a C Award umpire and is working towards her B Award. She is passionate about helping the game of netball develop in any way possible. Holly hopes that her role on the Derbyshire Youth Board will help her learn more about the game she loves and create opportunities for young people.
